RAILVIS.com is a similar platform to Uber for the taxi industry, Airbnb for individual accommodation, or Booking.com for the tourism industry. But this time for the rail freight segment. Its principle is to make everything as simple and efficient as possible. So that a person working on the railways can find exactly what they need in a few mouse clicks and can choose from a wide range of offers in a given region. RAILVIS.com was launched in late 2020 and went live in 2021. It is a unique online platform that handles all the organizational and administrative tasks associated with rail freight transport. RAILVIS.com currently has five basic functionalities. Namely, wagon hire, locomotive hire, wagon sales, locomotive sales, and locomotive performance sharing, which is a new feature that the company came to the market with this year. In terms of wagon hire, the supply now exceeds 2,300 wagons, and around 1,200 more are offered for sale. About 70 locomotives are offered for lease and about 40 for sale. As for the locomotive capacity offer, which the company launched in January, there are already around seven locomotive capacities available each week. The demand for this service came directly from the market; the carriers themselves lacked something like this. Capacity sharing is now purely for freight. However, there is also potential for passenger transport. All of these functionalities are based on the fact that the supply and demand of many companies are pooled in one place, which allows quick orientation and also gives the possibility to negotiate a much better price than could be achieved by communicating with only a few partners. The platform is already used by the largest European railway companies such as Deutsche Bahn Cargo, Rail Cargo Austria, Siemens, PKP Cargo, CZ Loko, VTG, and many others. For example, the Croatian freight carrier HŽ Cargo exclusively and successfully sold a quarter of its entire fleet (980 wagons and 16 locomotives) via the RAILVIS.com platform in March 2022. As of last May 2022, a total of 337 companies from all over Europe are registered and transacting on the platform. There has been nothing like this in Europe before. All transactions in this area were carried out only via telephone or email. At RAILVIS.com, we were the first to go digital in rail freight transport across Europe. Today, RAILVIS.com, which is based in Prague, employs fifteen people. In addition, we have representatives in Warsaw, Leipzig and Frankfurt, Trieste, and Istanbul. And we are trying to gradually expand our representation across Europe so that we can reach new partners directly in their regions. In the future, we also want to offer staff hire, where we see great potential because there is a great shortage of drivers, drivers, and operations people. And we also want to focus on container rental, so that the intermodal sector also has an overview of the available transport capacity.

RAILMARKET.com is a database of available railway companies on the market not only in Europe. It works similarly to the Google search engine, but only for the railway sector. Currently, there are already over 3000 companies from the entire spectrum of the rail market.
